The Total Turtle Tea Trolley began on its rounds many years ago, when I was working at a draconian engineering company in Southern California. During the endless days, nights, and weekends in the service of industrial metrology, I would think about a meadow, where I would much rather have been, about the food which I would like to have been eating, and about friendly creatures whom I would have liked to talk to. In the mornings, I composed the stories in my head, and sent them off in emails to my wife during the lunch breaks.
As should be evident, the stories have a basic form:
1. What the turtles are wearing.
2. The food they have on offer.
3. The tea.
It is simple and repetitive, but consider how much people get out of Twitter, where the sole point of interest is “What are you doing?”
